The Saw 3 Jigsaw killer features a theatrical red robe, wrist-loaded stiletto and a ghastly pigâTMs mask. This look reflects the Jigsaw killerâTMs sinister appearance during his victim-acquiring excursions; alternately the look reflects the Jigsaw killerâTMs protégée, Amanda, who was revealed to have participated in the Jigsaw killerâTMs endeavors since her own graduation from the Jigsaw Academy of Screaming Horror. The Jigsaw killer arranged complicated mechanical traps and scenarios that frequently forced morally deficient victims into acts of horror and mutilation in order to escape. Usually the killer communicated by video and/or mini-tape cassette, providing the clues that the victims needed to survive their tests, still, even so, the survival rate was extremely low. In Saw 3, it was established that Amanda had hosted a number of her own games but had deviated from the Jigsaw killerâTMs structure system, causing the latter to test the former one last time.
